Description

A moist and delicious banana bread made with Chobani Greek yogurt for extra richness and a soft texture. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup Chobani plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, Chobani Greek yogurt, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine mixtures: Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Add mix-ins (optional): Gently fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and serve: Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Overripe bananas work best for a naturally sweeter taste.
  • You can substitute whole wheat flour for a healthier version.
  • Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • Freezes well for up to 3 months—wrap tightly in plastic wrap and store in an airtight container.
